Tax Reform Bills Harmonization Successfully Completed, Set for Final Approval

The joint Conference Committee from the House of Representatives and the Senate has wrapped up its work on the Tax Reform Bills, paving the way for their final passage.

According to Honorable James Faleke, Chairman of the House Committee on Finance and leader of the House delegation in the harmonization process via his official X account on Sunday, the committees carefully reviewed every section of the four bills, resolving all grey areas and contentious issues.

“After intensive deliberations from Thursday night through Friday and into early Saturday, I am pleased to announce that the bills are now ready to be presented to both chambers for final approval,” Faleke said.

He extended special thanks to the Senate Conference Committee, led by Senator Sani Musa, and praised his colleagues on the House Conference Committee for their dedication and resilience in completing this critical task.

“We are grateful for everyone’s commitment to the Nigerian people,” Faleke added, closing with a hopeful prayer for the continued blessings on the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
