Senator Dayo Adeyeye has inaugurated the local government coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Oyo State, charging them to take President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s message directly to the grassroots ahead of future political engagements.
The inauguration ceremony took place in Oyo State, where Adeyeye, who serves as the South-West Zonal Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, addressed party stakeholders and newly appointed coordinators from across the state.
Speaking at the event, the former senator expressed strong confidence that President Tinubu would secure a landslide victory in the 2027 general election, citing growing support for the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda across the South-West and beyond.
Adeyeye, who is also the Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), urged the coordinators to see their roles as critical extensions of the presidency at the local level, stressing the importance of grassroots mobilisation.
“You are representing the President in your various local governments. Represent him well and canvass votes for him,” he said.
He emphasised that effective engagement at the community level would be key to sustaining support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and communicating the achievements and vision of the Tinubu administration to ordinary Nigerians.
The event attracted several prominent APC leaders in Oyo State, including the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu; the Oyo State Ambassador of the Renewed Hope Agenda, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin; Senator Abdulfatai Buhari; Senator Sharafadeen Alli; Senator Ayo Adeseun; former Oyo State APC Chairman, Chief Akin Oke; and the current chairman of the party in the state.
