The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Monday, received the Board of Directors of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) during a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Government House.
The delegation was led by the Chairman of the NPA Board, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, who was accompanied by other board members of the Authority.
Governor Sanwo-Olu warmly welcomed the visiting team and reaffirmed Lagos State’s continued partnership with the Nigerian Ports Authority in promoting efficient port operations and improving infrastructure that supports maritime trade within the state.
The visit underscores the strategic importance of Lagos as Nigeria’s primary maritime hub and the need for continuous collaboration between the state government and the NPA in addressing issues of logistics, traffic management, and economic development around port corridors.
