NPA Board Chairman Reaffirms Commitment to Warri Port Revival, Commends DESBAT Support for Tinubu

Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Board and National Leader of the South-West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA) has lauded members of Delta State for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (DESBAT) for their unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking in Warri on Thursday, August 28, 2025, during a reception organised by DESBAT, the NPA Board Chairman expressed appreciation for the warm welcome, noting that the passion and loyalty demonstrated by members under the leadership of Mr. Austin Oribioye reflect the grassroots strength of the Tinubu movement.

The visit also featured a tour of Warri Port, where the NPA Chairman reiterated the Federal Government’s determination to revitalise the port as part of wider efforts to boost trade, create jobs, and enhance national revenue.

“I share the aspirations of the people of Delta. The revival of Warri Port is critical to both local and national economic growth, and as Chairman of the NPA Board, I assure of our commitment to making this a reality,” he said.

He further acknowledged the goodwill and renewed commitment of Delta leaders, including Hon. Weyinmi Agbateyiniro, Engr. Peter Arubi, Hon. Oritsetimeyin Orugboh, and Mr. Charles Omadeli, who pledged their continued support for President Tinubu’s administration and his second-term bid.

While commending the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the SWAGA leader urged members across the country to remain steadfast in mobilising support for the President and sustaining the momentum of progress.

The event underscores both the political mobilisation efforts of SWAGA and the strategic economic focus on reviving Nigeria’s ports, particularly the Warri Port, as engines of growth and regional development.
