In a strongly worded statement shared via her Instagram story, Priscilla alleged that the fire was not an accident, but a calculated attack tied to earlier threats aimed at sabotaging her recent wedding, tagged JP2025.

“Sadly, on the 24th of May, this letter was delivered to my mother’s office,” she wrote, alongside a photo of a handwritten threat letter. “It was clearly a threat to her life and an attempt to ruin JP2025. Fortunately, she was en route to Tanzania for my wedding at the time and didn’t read the letter until her return.”

According to her, the family has launched a private investigation into the incident, reviewing surveillance footage to identify the individual who delivered the threatening note.

“We will eventually identify the person and present the evidence to the police at the appropriate time. Additional CCTV cameras have since been installed in her office and at home,” she added.

“Plan B” After Failed Wedding Sabotage?

Priscilla described the fire incident as possibly a “Plan B” following the failure of those behind the threat to disrupt her wedding. She labeled the situation as “deeply concerning,” urging that it be treated with the seriousness it deserves.

“While there are other unsettling developments I can’t disclose here, I want to make it clear: no amount of threats or criminal acts will silence my mother,” she stated. “God is greater than any evil, and in time, the truth will prevail.”

The letter she referenced, allegedly sent by an anonymous group calling themselves the “Aggrieved Group,” contained chilling warnings:

“You put someone in trouble, and now you’re out enjoying yourself, giving out your daughter in marriage, abi? … You can’t escape. In the next three months, we are watching you. We will make sure your daughter’s marriage is ruined—it will fail, and she will never enjoy it. We’ll all be there on the wedding day. Just wait and see.”

Heightened Security Measures

Though no suspects have yet been publicly identified, the Ojo family has confirmed that security has been significantly beefed up around Iyabo Ojo’s residence and office premises.

Actress Iyabo Ojo earlier confirmed the fire via her official Instagram page, thanking the Nigerian Fire Service and her staff for their swift response in containing the blaze. She also expressed immense gratitude that no lives were lost during the incident.

Standing Firm Against Threats

Priscilla concluded her message with a call for resilience and justice:

“We remain strong, hopeful, and prayerful. Justice will prevail.”

The incident has sparked wide concern across Nollywood and among fans, who are calling for a thorough investigation into both the fire and the earlier threats.
