I've found that virtually everyone of us had gone through situations in life that doesn't seem fair. Think about it; it doesn't seem fair that someone lied about you, that your sis kept having kids but you cannot conceive; it really doesn't seem fair that you lost a loved one, that people you know owe you the most are turning their backs; It doesn't seem fair that you're having to deal with an illness again and again. All you know is that life has thrown you a cup; things aren't happening in your life as expected, or like me, as spelt out in your diaries, on your timetable.
Well, here is what I've learnt that even though life is not always fair, God is fair. I've also learnt that we don't have the right to understand everything-especially God's dealings on our lives, but we have the right to trust Him.
Then, because our God is a just God, a God of integrity, a God who esteems his word better than His name, you and I can be sure He'll bring justice into our lives. Why that? Because He has promised He'll restore what was stolen, He'll pay us back for every unfair things that had ever happened in our lives, He'll pay us back beauty for all the ashes.
So, don't let any bad experience ruin the rest of your life, you have a destiny to fulfil! Don't let any divorce, any breakup, any bankruptcy, one lesser childhood, one loss of a loved one, one delay, one disappointment keep you from reaching forward to the amazing things God has in stock for your future.
In fairness to you, what happened may have been wrong, what they did may have put you out of advantage; maybe they played politics and you didn't get the promotion, the contract or weren't mobilized; they left you after years and years of loyalty; maybe your parents didn't have a time in the world for you growing up, you were abandoned; maybe you don't know why you lost your relationship, to you, you were doing the right thing but this is the wrong thing happening.
The truth is: what they did or didn't do cannot stop your destiny; they don't have the final say, God has the final say. As a matter of fact, if they walked away giving excuses they weren't meant to stay in the first place. And if you're feeling cheated and beating yourself over the head, you'll have to stop it today because God says he'll give you beauty for those ashes. If they left or didn't work out, keep calm: you'll soon understand they were your ashes when God brings your beauty.
One thing my friend and I, Omosebi Isaac had talked much about when in college was that nothing that happens to us is a surprise to God; I remember saying something funny again and again that God is not up in the heavens scratching his head thinking; Oh my God, I never knew he'll fall here, I never knew he'll be this disappointed...... Now what am I going to do? No God is not like that, he already has all of the mercies available for every mistake we'll ever make, He already has the restoration for everything that will ever be stollen from us, He already has the vindications, the justice, the new beginning that we'll ever need.
As a matter of fact, that setback you thought will be the end of you is simply a setup for God to set you up! Honey, you'll have to shake off of these quits and disappointment because God is ready to thrust you forward because He's a God of justice and will definitely brings justice into your future.
