FESSU National Secretary Hails Adesanya’s Election as EKSU Chapter President

The National General Secretary of the Federation of Ekiti State Students’ Union (FESSU), Ademiluyi Ayobami, popularly known as Ayomighty, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Ayodeji Adesanya also known as Ayopeters following his emergence as the newly elected President of the FESSU EKSU Chapter.

In a congratulatory message addressed to the new president, Ademiluyi lauded his friend and political ally for achieving what he described as a “remarkable accomplishment,” likening his electoral victory to winning a marathon, a feat that demands commitment, focus, and resilience.

“You have been a friend from the onset,” Ademiluyi wrote, “and your contributions to my political journey cannot be overemphasized. Though we hail from the same roots, you have consistently proven yourself to be much more than just a friend.”

The statement further praised Adesanya for creating an atmosphere that blends both inspiration and camaraderie, qualities deemed vital for student leadership in today’s complex academic environment.

Ademiluyi also acknowledged the sacrifices made along the way, noting that there were likely moments when Adesanya could have walked away, yet his discipline and perseverance ultimately carried him through to success.

“I’m certain we’ll continue to hear more about your leadership strides in the months ahead. Keep up the good work,” he added.

The statement, signed by Ademiluyi Ayodele Joseph in his capacity as the FESSU National General Secretary, not only underscores Adesanya’s popularity within student leadership circles but also highlights the deep-rooted networks and mentorship that often shape student union politics in Nigerian universities.

As Adesanya steps into his new role, expectations will be high for him to deliver on campaign promises, unite diverse student interests, and uphold the ideals of the federation. With this strong endorsement from a top national officer, the incoming FESSU-EKSU president begins his term with both momentum and backing.
