2face Idibia and other celebrity had proposed to led a nation wide against the state of the nations economy as well as the manner of governance by the Buhari led federal government of Nigeria which is to hold on the 5th of February 2017.
"We the people are tired. We can no longer continue with all of you. All your excuses and mistakes are not funny. We do not wish to continue with a system and government that is not working but afflicting the people. We the people of this country not living under the privileges of government allowances and remuneration have now accepted to take the bull by the horn to come out and protest this obnoxious and baseless policies and excuses of the government of the day" 2face said.
Prior to the proposed nation wide protest, a senior lecturer of Ekiti State University, Dr Akindele M. Adetoye has criticized the convener of the protest, the African Queen crooner, 2face Innocent Idibia, that he lack the moral stance to protest against the buhari led government describing him as a bloody illiterate that lack training.
"Bloody illiterate, you have sex with all manner of girls without using condom. You impregnated them and make babies all over the place. You now want to lead a protest against the government because of lack of good governance. Have you governed your own personal life" he said.
