Dayo Fapohunda, popularly known as D’Fap, has officially obtained his nomination and expression of interest forms to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency 2 under the All Progressive Congress 
Fapohunda made the announcement while addressing supporters, calling for unity and peaceful conduct as the party prepares for its primary election.

He stressed the importance of maintaining decorum throughout the process, urging party members, stakeholders, and fellow aspirants to avoid actions that could lead to conflict. According to him, all parties involved share a common objective of advancing development within the constituency.

Expressing confidence in his chances, Fapohunda assured supporters of victory at the primaries and encouraged them to remain committed and mobilized ahead of the exercise.

He also outlined his vision for the constituency, promising purposeful and inclusive representation that addresses the needs of the people across Ekiti East, Aiyekire/Gbonyin, and Emure local government areas.

Fapohunda reiterated his call for peaceful participation in the primaries, urging party faithful to rally behind a shared vision of progress and sustainable development.
