Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has welcomed the recent judgment of the Supreme Court of Nigeria affirming the leadership of David Mark within the African Democratic Congress, while cautioning against complacency.
In his reaction to the ruling, Atiku described the decision as a significant moment for the party and its supporters but stressed that the broader mission to “rescue the country” remains ongoing.

He noted that the victory extends beyond party leadership, attributing it to Nigerians who continue to demand a better future despite challenges.

“This victory belongs to Nigerians, the courageous millions who refuse to surrender their future,” he said, expressing appreciation to supporters for their resilience and commitment.

Atiku, however, urged citizens and party faithful to remain focused and determined, emphasizing that the struggle for national transformation is far from over.

“As we press on, let this truth guide us: eternal vigilance is the price of liberty,” he added.
